Mr. Casella received his Juris Doctor in 1967 from the Brooklyn Law School, and he is a graduate of Fordham University.
A member of the Richmond County Bar Association, his admissions included:
- The New York Bar
- The Federal District Court (Eastern and Southern Districts)
- The Federal Court of Appeals, 2nd Circuit
- The United States Supreme Court

Mr. Casella was experienced in different aspects of law, including representing cases in both the New York Family Court and the New York Supreme Court. He also represented clients in New York’s highest court, the New York Court of Appeals.
Mr. Casella devoted much of his time to representing clients in contentious or complex divorce matters in addition to successfully litigating employment claims against several municipal agencies and large corporations. This broad range of experience helped Mr. Casella look at each case from multiple angles.
